For decades, Washington Gas managed a small business program that is dedicated to measuring our metrics and having an impact on the community.

Our program is designed to:

Recent highlights:

In 2024, Washington Gas directed approximately $200 million of annual spend to certified suppliers, supporting 845 jobs, generating $68 million in income and contributing $23 million in taxes across our region.
As a result, in 2025, Washington Gas was honored as Corporation of the Year by Women’s Business Enterprise Council
Metro NY & Greater DMV, recognizing our leadership, strategic vision, and commitment to sustainable, customer-focused and comprehensive business practices.
